Privacy & Comments Policy

Lumination Network encourages interaction with our readers through letters to the editor and story comments but reserves the right to refuse to publish comments and block commenters. Anyone may comment. To maintain the integrity of our site, we request that your comments be relevant, respectful and accurate.

Before you post, consider the following:

  • Keep it clean. Comments containing obscene or profane language—including creative spelling and typographical representations of foul language—will not be published.
  • Be nice. Disagreeing is fine, but don’t call names or engage in personal attacks.
  • Be truthful. Don’t lie or spread rumors about anyone or anything. Stick to discussing what is factually known.

By submitting a comment on our website, you are agreeing to hold this site, its users, employees, and all subsidiaries and representatives harmless from any and all repercussions, damages, or liability.

What information is recorded when I post a comment?

All information provided is volunteered by you.  We record the first and last name, IP address, email, and origin of all those who leave a comment.  If you are logged in this information will be associated with your username.  All comments are reviewed by comment spamming software and by the site administrators and may be removed without cause at any time.

We will not share this information with anyone unless required of us by Lipscomb University or any government institution via a subpena for any reasonable cause. We respect your privacy.
