Lipscomb University Health Services invites you to a fun, informative night on October 8.
A special presentation of the documentary, America the Beautiful, will be shown in Ward Hall and community guests have been invited to attend. The film interviews people in the advertising and beauty industry and examines at how America’s obsession with beauty affects us all. You can view the trailer here: America the Beautiful trailer.
This limited-seating event is being hosted by Remuda Ranch, an eating disorders treatment center. Joining us for a panel discussion after the film will be specialists from Remuda Ranch along with Kirsten Haglund, Miss America 2008. We especially encourage anyone who is struggling with or is interested in working with people who have body image issues or an eating disorder to attend. You must register to attend, but it is FREE!
