Wellness

We currently have 65 participants still in the running to be Lipscomb’s
Biggest Loser! TOTAL Pounds Lost: 158 lbs as of week 3.We have got Sodexo on
board to create a “Biggest Loser meal” and the participants are awarded
point for eating that meal which is between 400-500 calories a serving.

Lastweek we focused on nutrition. Challenging the teams with nutrition questions
while they were fighting the clock to get as many rounds of weighted squats,
push-ups, and lunges. Then they were challenged with a personal nutritional
quiz for the chance to win a heart rate monitor.

Contest– 80 Contestants competing to lose the most body weight and the most
activity points. Over 100 lbs lost!

-Grand Prize- Weekend get away to Gatlinburg, TN!

-Eat the BIGGEST LOSER MEAL (between 400-500 calories) in the upstairs
dinning hall!

Spinning Cinema- 3:00 Sunday, April 27th- Watch Cool Runnings while
spinning or lounge in the viewing area. FREE movie & FREE popcorn. Sign up at
the SAC desk.

Spinning Nation SPIN-A-THON sponsoring Ride 2 Recovery- Charity event
benefiting mental and physical rehabilitation of men and women in the armed
forces. March 5th, 9:30-10:30. $10 minimum donation. Sign up at SAC desk.
