While every elementary, middle and high school in the Nashville area has closed for today (and probably will tomorrow as well), Lipscomb University does not surrender to the white blanket covering the entire southeaster United States. Classes are still scheduled for the entire university, but keep an eye on your email for professors who might cancel individual classes.

Because of this wintry weather we’re getting, the basketball game between the Bisons and the Ospreys of the University of North Florida have been moved up to noon today for the men’s game and 2:15 pm for the women’s game.
There will be a free BBQ lunch for students and admission to the game is free to everyone. So, whether your classes are cancelled or you’re trekking through the snow to reach that academic building, stop by Allen Arena this afternoon for some Bison basketball, free food and a promised good time.
