Monday Monday Night Football in ARLOs Tuesday Smiling faces are needed as volunteer “Hosts” for Lighting of the Green Tuesday, November 30 For the 6th straight year Amy Grant will host this popular event that draws thousands from the Nashville community. Amy will be joined this year by Dave Barnes, Susan Ashton, The Black Nativity ensemble and choruses from both the University and the Campus School. Lighting of the Green features include: Free photos with Santa Claus in the Bennett Campus Center 3:30pm-7:30pm Concert featuring Amy Grant in Allen Arena Mall – begins at 5:30pm Merry Marketplace (Holiday gifts and more!) Allen Arena Lobby – 1:00pm-8:00pm Williamsburg Village – Free holiday cookies and hot chocolate – begins at 4:30pm Lighting of the Green would not be possible without the wonderful volunteer help of Lipscomb faculty, staff and students. Come be a part of this magical night and help us extend a warm Lipscomb welcome and Christmas cheer to our many guests. One Ticket per student with a valid student ID!! Dr. Bradshaw’s seminar class is putting on a campus-wide rummage sale in racquetball court #4 in the SAC. Drop by between classes and find something you like for a thrifty price! We’ll be selling clothes, books, shoes, glassware, paintings, afghans, and TONS of other odds & ends — and Campus Recreation has offered to donate a FREE group fitness class pass to any student who makes a purchase. All proceeds go to benefit the Ashraya Mission in India, so come and shop for a good cause! She is now a student in the LIFE (Lipscomb Initiative for Education) program at the Tennessee Prison for Women.
