Monday Monday Night Football in ARLOs Tuesday Smiling faces are needed as volunteer “Hosts” for Lighting of the Green Tuesday, November 30 For the 6th straight year Amy Grant will host this popular event that draws thousands from the Nashville community.  Amy will be joined this year by Dave Barnes, Susan Ashton, The Black Nativity ensemble and choruses from both the University and the Campus School. Lighting of the Green features include: Free photos with Santa Claus in the Bennett Campus Center 3:30pm-7:30pm Concert featuring Amy Grant in Allen Arena Mall – begins at 5:30pm Merry Marketplace (Holiday gifts and more!) Allen Arena Lobby – 1:00pm-8:00pm Williamsburg Village – Free holiday cookies and hot chocolate – begins at 4:30pm Lighting of the Green would not be possible without the wonderful volunteer help of Lipscomb faculty, staff and students.  Come be a part of this magical night and help us extend a warm Lipscomb welcome and Christmas cheer to our many guests. Basketball defeats Stillman College in home opener

The Bisons got scoring from everywhere on Tuesday night.Lipscomb had five players reach double digits when Stillman visited Allen Arena. In double figures were Brandon Brown with 10, Justin Glenn with 11, Josh Slater with 18, Adnan Hodzic with 19, and freshman Robert Boyd lead the Bisons in scoring with 20. The final score was 103-78 With Hodzic’s 19 points, the Lipscomb big man continued his streak to 59 consecutive games with 10 points or more. Boyd continues to impress Lipsomb fans with his play. The Knoxville native tallied 13 points against North Carolina in his first career game. Tonight, in addition to his 20 points, Boyd went 10-10 from the free throw line, had four assists and five steals. Senior guard Josh Slater lead the Bisons in rebounding with 10. Slater was the first Bison to record a double-double this season. Stillman was lead by Riley Lee, who had 21 points. The Bisons outrebounded Stillman 57-33. Back for another year, Dodgeball: No Escape showcased numerous teams that battled it out for the title and the trophy. The prison-like atmosphere made for an intense evening of dodgeball in Fanning’s courtyard. Starting with single elimination games, some were went out quickly. Other teams, like California Boys and Dumbledore’s Army, came close but didn’t quite make it to the championship game. Teams Campus Safety and Robin Hood Men in Tights had a showdown in the championship round. The winner was to be determined in a best-out-of-three round.
