10. First Regular Season Title
The Bisons basketball team entered uncharted territory in 2006. For the first time in school history the Bisons earned an invitation to the NIT postseason tournament after winning the Atlantic Sun regular-season championship. Following a 77-48 win over Kennesaw State in Allen Arena. The Bisons cut down the nets and claimed first place in the A-Sun with Belmont nipping at their heels in second. The Bisons finished the season with a 21-11 record which still stands as the best overall record for Lipscomb since joining the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2003.
