2. Volleyball team becomes first team in A-Sun history to go undefeated in the conference and earned an NCAA Tourney bid.
In 2009 the Lipscomb Volleyball team was literally unstoppable during their season. The Lady Bisons were 22-0 in A-Sun play. They became the first team in A-Sun history to go undefeated in the conference. After peaking at a national ranking of 34, the team went on to win A-sun tournament and earn an NCAA Tourney bid.
